]]> Curacao beaches are, in a word, stunning. This is one of what they call the A-B-C islands [Aruba, Bonair and Curacao] and it is located in the Dutch area of the Caribbean. So it is not unusual that many of the people you will find here come from The Netherlands and speak Dutch. Luckily for me The Netherlands is my birth country and I can still speak the language so it was a lot of fun to get to practice my native tongue here.

Curacao is truly one of the most beautiful islands in the Southern Caribbean and one with more breath-taking beaches than almost any other island I’ve been to. Well, you can judge for yourself :: check out these amazing beaches ::

Curaçao beaches :: you took my breath away

Having stopped in Curaçao before on one of our cruises we decided to go back and stay for 3 weeks on this amazing island. We visited all of these 15 beaches but I think if we’d stayed longer we would have found more. Each is different with its own personality and charm.

When I return I will plant myself on a different beach every day and snorkel all day long. A regular snorkel mask never worked for me and it seemed I was always discouraged. I am thankful to have finally invested in this great full-face mask that makes snorkeling so much better for me. Now I can breathe normally and enjoy the incredible sea life before my eyes.
