This app searches for the cheapest flights, hotels, car rentals + the like. The many tools included allow you to easily check out multiple-flight trips [which are sometimes a much cheaper option than you think]. And it has an added bonus :: it is the only app that gives substantial senior discounts. You can’t afford to travel without this app.

Like its counterparts Skyscanner finds the cheapest deals on airfare, hotels + car rentals. This app claims to list more airlines + travel agents than any other. There are no hidden fees + you can set up flight alerts + multi-city destinations. It also has an “explore” feature that can inspire you to try out new destinations.

Airbnb is a popular online marketplace that allows users to search + rent out homes, apartments, private rooms, hotel rooms or private spaces within homes. An Airbnb experience can foster a unique, local experience while traveling.

To stay in an Airbnb on your next trip visit the website or use the app. Enter the location that you’re planning to visit, select a check-in + check-out date + the number of guests included in the stay. Airbnb will suggest local experiences as well as rooms + homes to rent. You can filter results based on the home type, price, booking method, amenities + more. If find something you like you can book directly through the Airbnb app.

Tip :: I recommend you search for properties that are hosted by a Superhost. Superhosts are experienced with Airbnb + provide a shining example for other hosts + extraordinary experiences for their guests. Once a host reaches Superhost status, a badge will automatically appear on their listing + profile to help you identify them.
