Austria is the perfect blend of old + new :: the combination is intoxicating. From golden imperial palaces to a Mozart opera. Near Vienna’s St. Stephens Cathedral is Mozarthaus where Mozart + his family lived. Don’t miss the musical clock made around 1790 which plays a variation of a piece Mozart is thought to have composed + located just down the street from Joma Wien Brasserie. Wonderful outdoor cafes + coffee houses, traditional horse + carriage rides through the captivating city, history + modern architecture abound at every turn. Vienna is a breath-taking walking town that will take you deep inside its history in each step you take. Take the Hop On Hop Off bus like we did to get the best overview of Vienna. You can get on + off wherever you like. Take a fiaker ride (horse + carriage) + then go back to the places you just learned about. What a fascinating city!
