Travel overview of Italy – by Louise
Italy is a conundrum. A very ancient country + yet a modern one it is one of the most beautiful countries to visit in Europe. If you ask me I would say the world. My love for this country runs deep. Some favorite parts are the historic magnificence of Florence, the overwhelming beauty of Cinque Terre, the undeniable charm of Vienna, the breath-taking views of the Amalfi Coast to name just a few. Yet beyond the excitement of wanting to see its famous cities there’s so much to consider when planning a trip. One of my very favorite foods is Italian + I can cook Italian dishes in the American style. But once I tasted even the simplest of meals, spaghetti with meat sauce, I was brought to shame in thinking I knew how to cook Italian. Just on the score of food alone let alone the beauty of Italy my heart yearns to go back again + again. The beauty of the country draws you in + makes you long to return again + again.
