The Netherlands is a very small country roughly the size of Maryland but nevertheless packs in big punch. Oh so many sites to visit. History + architecture. Endless canals + bridges that create a warm atmosphere. Lush trees + greens throughout make you want to be outside when the weather is nice especially the vibrant beauty of Keukenhof Garden in full bloom. Cheese + bikes + chocolates + pastries + dairy products all abound in this below-sea-level country. Windmills + wooden shoes aren’t even the beginning when it comes to the charm in this gorgeous country. Fields, flowers, dairies, cobblestone streets, architecture, history… the list goes on. The country of my is all of these things + more. If it’s not on your bucket list you may as well add it now because if you don’t you will miss a very compelling vacation spot + will miss out on some of the best food in the world.
