It might be small, but England packs a lot of amazing scenery into its relatively small space: fields of lush green, steep cliffs + breezy plains (Stonehenge comes to mind). There are 10 national parks from what I understand + its coast is one of Europe’s longest + the only one to have a public coast path the whole way round. This country is a never-ending feast for the eyes. Strewn about are ruined castles throughout. And every English city, town + village has its own individual tale to tell :: what an amazing country.
England’s countryside is breathtaking as I drove along from the south to the center. So far I’ve been to Southampton, London, Liverpool, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Birmingham + a small eclectic village where I was blessed to visit with cousins I hadn’t seen since I was a small child. What a blessing it was to visit England for the first time. And surely I will be back.
