Carryon Hard Case Spinner by Delsey
I have gone through a lot of suitcases after having traveled for many years. Some have lasted a couple of years, some have fallen apart sooner. But I finally found a hard case carryon spinner bag that is almost indestructible + has all the features I need. I’ve even learned how to pack everything for a 2-week trip into this carryon [using my eBags Packing Cubes, that is].
This bag has four spinner wheels [absolutely necessary if you travel a lot] which makes it easy to steer along when you’re walking through the long halls of the airport. You can just roll it at your side rather than pull it behind you. It also has an outside pocket which is perfect for my amazing Macbook Air laptop computer that I take everywhere on my travels + any important papers that require easy access [such as maps or travel guides] that I don’t want to carry in my women’s travel vest.
The hard case I love because it holds up so much better than a fabric bag + makes it much easier to compress. What I do is put my computer in the outside compartment first + then zip it up. Then I open the zipper than expands the suitcase to its largest capacity. I pack everything in + zip it up. And then I push down on the hard cover + zip the expansion zipper. This method allows you to fit a lot more into your carryon than normal + acts like a compression bag.
Finally, the four zippers [two suitcase, two expansion] all fit together into a lock so your bag is secure + you won’t risk getting the keys broken off. Oh + they won’t jingle around while moving about. It’s the little things…
In my opinion this is the best carryon suitcase for the price. There are others on the market that offer charging capabilities but for three times the price of this Delsey + without the outside compartment which I find a lot more necessary than the charger.
